New Paul McBeth Big Z Malta Discraft Red - 174g

The Discraft Malta is Paul McBeth's signature midrange, built for players who want a reliable overstable mid that handles wind and forehand lines without drama. This one comes in Big Z plastic, red, at 174g.

Plastic & Feel

• Big Z is a textured variant of Z plastic with extra grip and a slightly softer feel than standard Z
• The added texture makes it comfortable in the hand for both backhand and forehand grips
• Durable enough to hold its overstable flight characteristics through heavy use

Flight Profile

• Speed 5 / Glide 4 / Turn 1 / Fade 3 — a very overstable midrange
• Handles forehand utility shots and spike hyzers with authority, finishing hard left on a reliable line
• Cuts through headwinds cleanly without flipping or losing its intended fade

Ideal For

Newer players looking for a wind-resistant mid that won't turn over, and forehand-focused players who want a dependable spike hyzer or headwind utility disc that holds its line every time.
