This limited edition Discraft CryZtal FLX Sparkle Buzzz GT features beautiful translucent turquoise-blue plastic with a darker blue rim, fine sparkle throughout the flight plate, and a clean metallic Discraft Limited Edition stamp. Weighing 180g, this collectible Buzzz GT combines the distinctive groove-top design with an unusual premium plastic blend from an older limited production run.
CryZtal FLX Sparkle combines the translucent appearance and durability of Discraft's CryZtal plastic with added flexibility and fine sparkle throughout the blend. It offers a slightly softer, more flexible feel than traditional Z plastic while maintaining excellent durability and dependable grip.
The Buzzz GT features a unique groove track molded into the top of the flight plate, providing a natural resting position for the thumb. This distinctive design gives the disc a different feel from the standard Buzzz and makes it especially appealing to players who prefer a groove-top midrange.
Flight Numbers: 5 | 5 | 0 | 1
The Buzzz GT is a straight-to-stable midrange with excellent glide and a controlled, predictable finish. Its groove-top design offers a secure grip while maintaining the familiar versatility of the Buzzz family. It handles smooth, straight releases and controlled hyzers with a gentle finishing fade.
Great for straight midrange drives, wooded fairways, controlled approaches, and technical shots requiring accuracy. The unique groove track appeals to players looking for a different grip feel, while the older limited edition plastic makes this an interesting addition to a Discraft or Buzzz GT collection.
This limited edition CryZtal FLX Sparkle Buzzz GT is consistent with a small Michigan disc golf fundraiser release announced in late 2014. The release was associated with efforts to support the Michigan State Disc Golf Championships.
The translucent blue plastic, suspended sparkle, distinctive groove top, and understated Limited Edition stamp set this older release apart from more recent Buzzz GT runs. The exact production date and quantity have not been independently verified.
