If the order includes shipping the buyer paid, the 10% commission also applies to that shipping amount, but never to sales tax. If you buy a shipping label from your dashboard (at the carrier's price, no markup), that label cost is the only other thing deducted.

Questions about fees
What are the selling fees on Disc.Market?
A 10% commission on the item price plus shipping (never on tax), plus a flat $0.35 per order. There are no listing fees and no subscription.
Do buyers pay any fees?
There is no separate buyer fee. Buyers pay the item price, shipping and any sales tax. When shipping is a calculated carrier rate, the shipping price at checkout includes a small handling amount: 5% of the rate, at least $0.10 and at most $1.25, with the total then rounded up to the next 5 cents. A flat shipping price a Pro Shop sets has nothing added. Seller fees come out of the seller's payout only.
What does the $0.35 per-order fee cover?
The flat $0.35 per order covers payment processing and tracking. It is cost-recovery, not a profit center.
Is the commission charged on sales tax?
No. The 10% commission is calculated only on the item price plus shipping. Sales tax is never part of the commission base.
How do fees work on auctions?
Exactly the same as fixed-price sales: the 10% commission and the $0.35 per-order fee apply to the final sale price (the winning bid, or the Buy-It-Now price) plus shipping, never tax. The same applies to second-chance offers. There is no insertion or listing fee for auctions.
Does the shipping label cost come out of my payout?
Only if you buy a shipping label from your dashboard. We sell them at the carrier's price with no markup, and that cost is deducted from your payout (it replaces buying postage yourself). If you ship with your own labels, nothing extra is deducted.
Are there listing or subscription fees?
No. Listing is completely free and there is no subscription or monthly charge. You only pay when you make a sale.
