TOMMY GORILLA OG Discraft Banger GT Green - 175g

The Discraft Banger GT is a workhorse stable putter that disc golfers have leaned on for approach shots and short-range precision for decades. This one comes in the Tommy Gorilla OG run, dressed in a green ESP swirl with a bold pink foil stamp that catches the eye from the tee pad to the basket.

Plastic & Feel

ESP is a firm, opaque plastic that frequently shows colorful swirl patterns, and this disc is a solid example of that. It provides reliable grip in dry conditions and holds its shape well over time. The firm feel translates directly to consistent release angles, which matters a lot when you need to stick an approach.

Flight Profile

Speed 2 / Glide 3 / Turn 0 / Fade 1 puts the Banger GT squarely in stable putter territory. It flies straight on approach lines and holds whatever angle you put it on, making it easy to throw controlled hyzer or anhyzer lines without much drama at the end of the flight. It is not going to turn over on you, and the mild fade at the end keeps it on target.

Stamp Highlight

The Tommy Gorilla OG stamp features a cigar-smoking gorilla in a top hat with crossed rifles, rendered in a glittery pink foil. It is a standout stamp that makes this disc easy to spot in a pile, and a conversation starter on the course.

Ideal For

Newer players will find the Banger GT approachable and forgiving on short-game shots, while experienced players will appreciate how dependably it holds a line. At 175g in firm ESP plastic, it is a solid pick for approach work, upshots, and consistent putting practice.
