Kui

The Kui is Yikun's overstable workhorse midrange, named for a one legged storm beast of Chinese myth. It flies with a firm, dependable character: straight while the power lasts, then a steady fade that arrives on time every throw. Wind does not bother it much, and it takes forehand torque without complaint. For intermediate players it slots naturally as the stable half of a midrange pair, covering hyzer lines and blustery days while a straighter mid handles the tunnels.
