The original MD1 anchored Discmania's early midrange lineup back when the company's discs came out of Innova's molds. It is a classic workhorse mid: straight off the hand at moderate power, steady through the middle of the flight, and finished with a dependable fade you can plan around. Compared with the modern version it flies less floaty and more sure footed. Players who learned on this era of Discmania plastic still hunt down these older runs.
