The MD3X takes the familiar MD3 flight and adds a firmer finish. It keeps the straight, workable midsection that makes the base mold so trusted, but the extra late fade means it stands up better in wind and on hard thrown forehands. Players who found themselves wishing their control mid had a little more insurance at the end of the flight are exactly who this disc was made for. It slots neatly between a point and shoot mid and a true overstable one.
