Obex

The Obex is the overstable partner to Vibram's Ibex, a rubber midrange with no turn and a firm left finish. It was the mid you pulled when the wind came up or the shot called for a forehand, because the rubber resisted torque and the fade never failed to show. Not a distance piece and not a line shaper, just a stubborn, grippy disc that does the same correct thing on every throw.
