The Phoenix is Mint's answer for the shots where nothing neutral will survive. Low glide and a heavy fade mean it wants to get down and finish left for a right handed backhand, no matter how hard you throw it or how much wind is blowing. That makes it a natural forehand disc, a headwind driver, and a spike hyzer tool. Newer players will find it frustratingly short, but experienced arms lean on flights like this precisely because they never surprise you.
