Named for the Texas river, the Frio is a smooth, neutral fairway driver from Lone Star. It flies quiet and straight with a touch of movement at full power and a gentle finish, the kind of flight that fits wooded fairways, tunnel shots, and placement drives. It does not demand a big arm and it does not punish a slightly off release. For intermediate players building a control game, this is a very easy disc to like.
