The Hybrid is a Gateway fairway driver from the mid 2000s with a classic overstable shape to its flight. It leaves the hand clean, holds a controlled forward push, and finishes with a strong fade that shows up on schedule whether the air is calm or gusty. That reliability makes it a solid forehand fairway and a headwind answer for players who do not yet throw hard enough to put overstable distance drivers to work.
