Westside Early Run BT Soft Swan 1 Reborn Original – 175g

This is an early Westside Discs BT Soft Swan 1 Reborn featuring the original 3 | 3 | -1 | 0 flight numbers used when the mold was introduced in 2015. It has a solid red BT Soft flight plate with the classic Swan Reborn artwork in a yellow stamp and weighs 175g. The disc is new and unthrown with some storage wear from age. These older examples are easy to distinguish from current Swan 1 Reborns because Westside later changed the published turn rating from -1 to -2.5 and modern production is commonly found in Burst and other newer plastic variations. Plastic & Feel BT Soft is Westside's soft and highly grippy putter plastic. It uses a blend of rubbers and polymers to provide a flexible, tacky feel and dependable grip in a wide range of weather conditions. This older solid-color BT Soft run predates the modern Burst versions commonly available today. Flight Profile 3 | 3 | -1 | 0 These are the original flight numbers printed on the disc and the ratings Westside announced when the Swan 1 Reborn was released in 2015. Westside later changed its published turn rating to -2.5 without requiring a new PDGA mold approval. The Swan 1 Reborn is an understable putter designed to produce an easy straight flight for lower arm speeds with virtually no finishing fade. It works especially well for long putts, gentle turnovers, and touch approaches. Ideal For Straight putts, long putts, turnover approaches, touch shots, lower-powered players, Westside collectors, and anyone specifically looking for one of the older BT Soft Swan 1 Reborn runs. Stamp & Run Notes The Swan 1 Reborn was approved by the PDGA on February 6, 2015 and officially released March 1, 2015. Westside specifically announced that BT Soft would be the first plastic used for the new mold and gave it the original 3 | 3 | -1 | 0 ratings . This example carries those original numbers directly in the stamp. Later Swan 1 Reborn production changed to a -2.5 turn rating, making this identifiable as an early-production example rather than a modern Swan 1 Reborn.
