This is an older Finnish-stamped Westside release rather than the more common English “King” stock stamp. The disc also carries the older 14 / 5 / -1 / 4 flight numbers associated with this era of the King. At only 158g, this King is considerably lighter than a typical max-weight distance driver and is designed to achieve easier high-speed turn and maximum distance. The King is a high-speed distance driver with strong glide and enough high-speed turn to produce long distance flights. The lightweight VIP Air construction makes this version easier to get up to speed than a max-weight King. Stamp & Run Notes The artwork depicts a king from the Finnish national epic Kalevala and was created for Westside Discs by Arto Hoffrén in 2010. “Pohjolan Isäntä” is the original Finnish name used for the Westside King. Westside produced Finnish-name and English-name stock stamps during its earlier years. Finnish-stamped inventory became increasingly difficult to obtain after the old Westside Finland warehouse was closed, with retailers specifically marketing the remaining discs as pieces of Westside history. VIP Air Pohjolan Isäntäs in the 158g range are documented as far back as 2014, making this lightweight configuration consistent with Westside's earlier Finnish production era.
