This is a brand-new, unthrown 178g Innova Star IT from the 2026 April Fools “EF IT” release. It has a purple Star plastic flight plate with the limited EF IT artwork finished in blue foil. This is one of the special IT releases produced around Innova’s 2026 transition from the IT name to the Lynx.
Star is Innova’s durable premium plastic with a comfortable blend of grip, firmness, and long-term wear resistance.
Compared with Champion plastic, Star generally has a slightly more grippy feel while still maintaining its flight characteristics through plenty of use.
This is part of Innova’s 2026 April Fools EF IT release. The artwork plays on the IT name with the “EF IT” / Exclusive Factory theme.
The timing makes the release especially interesting because Innova officially renamed the IT to the Lynx in 2026. Innova confirmed that the Lynx is the same physical mold as the IT, with the name changed and the Turn rating updated from -2 to -3.
Speed 7 / Glide 6 / Turn -2 / Fade 1
These are the flight numbers printed on this specific IT stamp.
The IT is an understable, high-glide fairway driver designed for easy distance, hyzer flips, turnovers, and controlled shaping shots. Innova now rates the renamed Lynx at 7 / 6 / -3 / 1 to better represent how understable the mold actually flies.
The limited EF IT artwork is the defining feature of this April Fools release. This copy pairs a purple Star plastic base with a bright blue foil stamp, giving the joke stamp a clean high-contrast look.
Players looking for an easy-to-turn fairway driver, hyzer-flip lines, long turnovers, rollers, and technical woods shots, as well as collectors interested in the short transitional period when Innova was moving the IT name over to Lynx.
