Gateway Organic Hemp SSS Wizard – 175g

Gateway Wizard in Organic Hemp SSS plastic with a natural brown and tan speckled appearance and multicolor rainbow foil stamp. Weighs 175g and remains brand new and completely unthrown with no storage wear. The underside carries the original handwritten 175, SSS and H markings identifying the weight, Super Stupid Soft flex and Hemp blend. This appears consistent with Gateway's older Organic Hemp production, although the exact production date and prototype status have not been confirmed. Plastic & Feel Organic Hemp SSS combines Gateway's grippy SureGrip-style putter plastic with hemp-based material, giving the disc its distinctive natural speckled appearance. Gateway's early Hemp blends were somewhat experimental. Contemporary descriptions from Gateway said the first Hemp material fell between SS and SSS in feel and varied in flex while the company refined the blend. This individual disc is marked SSS and H on the underside. Flight Profile 2 / 3 / 0 / 2 The Wizard is a stable beaded putter with a straight initial flight and a dependable finishing fade. It is one of Gateway's longest-running molds and works equally well for putting, controlled approaches and short tee shots. Ideal For Putting, straight approaches, short drives, windy putts and players who prefer a grippy beaded putter with a reliable finish. Stamp & Run Notes This example features Gateway's Organic Hemp Blend Earth and recycling artwork with a multicolor rainbow foil stamp. The plastic has a natural brown/tan appearance with heavy dark speckling throughout. The underside is handwritten 175, SSS and H . Gateway's early Organic Hemp material was described at the time as a proto blend while the company refined its hemp-based plastic. This disc has characteristics consistent with that older Hemp era, but there is not enough documentation to conclusively identify this individual disc as a prototype or First Run. Unlike many older examples, this disc remains brand new and completely unthrown with no storage wear or player ink. Exact disc pictured is the disc you will receive.
