This special edition Discraft ESP Swirl Anax commemorates Paul McBeth reaching a historic 1060 PDGA player rating on October 8, 2019. Featuring a beautiful yellow and orange pinwheel swirl with hints of olive green and gray, this 175g Anax has a clean, unstamped flight plate and a reflective gold commemorative bottom stamp reading "Highest Rated Player Ever." The stamp also features McBeth's signature, the historic date, and his 1060 rating. Brand new and unthrown, this is a collectible piece of Discraft and Paul McBeth history.
Discraft's premium ESP plastic offers excellent grip, durability, and a comfortable feel in the hand. This older swirly ESP run features a distinctive multicolored pinwheel pattern, making each disc visually unique. The gold bottom stamp allows the colorful swirls on the top flight plate to remain completely unobstructed.
Flight Numbers: 10 | 6 | 0 | 3
The Anax is an overstable distance driver with excellent glide and a dependable finishing fade. Its combination of speed and glide provides controlled distance without requiring the power of a faster high-speed driver. Expect a relatively straight initial flight with strong resistance to turn and a reliable fade at the end.
Perfect for Paul McBeth collectors, fans of early Discraft ESP Swirl runs, and players looking for an overstable control-distance driver. The limited 2019 commemorative stamp celebrates a historic moment in professional disc golf, making this particular Anax especially appealing as a display piece or collector's addition.
