The Pro Model is the frisbee Ed Headrick redesigned for Wham-O in 1964, the disc that helped turn a toy into a sport. Its raised concentric rings tamed the wobble of earlier saucers, giving it a stable, satisfying flight that made organized play possible. It flies slow and level with an easy drift when pushed, and it remains a lovely thing to throw on a calm day. For disc golfers it is a founding artifact, the ancestor every modern putter can thank.
