Backdraft

The Backdraft is Salient's overstable distance driver, and it flies with its firefighting name's sense of caution: controlled, resistant, and predictable. At power it pushes straight without turning, carries respectable glide, and closes with a strong fade a right handed backhand can bank on. That profile suits windy open holes and forehand drives where a flip would be fatal. It wants a strong arm to reach full flight, so slower throwers will see mostly the fade.
