The Mad Cat is one of Lone Star's earliest molds, a stable fairway driver with an easygoing flight. It leaves the hand straight, glides well for its class, and finishes with a moderate fade that keeps drives in the fairway instead of the rough. It handles backhands and forehands alike and does not need a huge arm to perform. For intermediate players it makes a dependable everyday driver with no bad habits to work around.
