The Guadalupe, another Texas river name from Lone Star, is an understable fairway driver with generous glide. Thrown at comfortable speed it flips gently, drifts right through a long floaty middle, and fades softly home, which is the ideal recipe for newer players chasing their first real distance. It also serves stronger arms as a tailwind and turnover fairway. Wind is its enemy, but on a calm day it makes easy holes feel even easier.
