Viper (1991 Distance Record)

The Viper is one of Innova's early overstable drivers, a nineties mold that stuck around because its flight never lies. There is little glide, no real turn at any power, and a hard, early finish that arrives on schedule in any wind. Modern players bag it as a headwind fighter, a forehand approach disc, and a spike hyzer tool rather than a distance piece. If you want fairway range with a guaranteed left exit, this is that disc, but newer arms will find it lands short.
