The Sonic is an old school lid, a thin flat putter that flies like a relic from the sport's early days because it is one. It has no stability to speak of at power, so it is happiest on soft touch shots, short flips, and casual rounds where feel matters more than fight. Push it hard and it turns over immediately, which some players exploit for sneaky rollers. Mostly it survives as a beloved throwback and a great disc to play catch with.
