The Sidewinder is one of the great understable drivers, in the lineup since the early 2000s and still the standard advice for players learning distance. It turns readily for a righthand backhand, glides forever, and finishes with barely any fade, which makes hyzer flips, big anhyzers, and rollers all feel easy. Newer players get real distance out of it, and strong arms keep one around for shaping shots faster discs cannot hit. Few discs cover that much of a career.
