The Shark has been teaching people to throw midranges since the late eighties, most famously as the mid in Innova's classic starter set. It flies straight at moderate power with a mild fade, asks nothing special of your form, and telegraphs exactly what your release did. That honesty is why so many players learned on one. It is not the longest or the most stable mid ever made, but as a first midrange it is still a fine answer.
