Hammer

The Hammer dates to Innova's earliest years, before flight numbers, wide rims, or most of the molds anyone bags today. It is slow and low glide by any modern measure, closer to an approach disc than a true midrange, with a touch of workable movement and a finish that arrives promptly. That makes it a short game tool: controlled upshots, low ceilings, and shots where you want the disc down quickly. Mostly, though, it survives as a collectible from the sport's formative era, a reminder of how far mold design has come.
