The Beast was one of the discs that kicked off the wide rim distance era, and it carried plenty of tour wins in the early 2000s. For today's power throwers it flips readily, turning over out of the hand and riding a long sweeping S curve back with modest fade. That makes it a genuine distance disc for average arms, a tailwind bomber, and a fine roller. Big arms have mostly moved on, which is exactly why developing players should not.
