The Chief OS takes Gateway's shallow, comfortable Chief and firms up the ending. It flies straight for most of its flight, then fades with more authority than the standard model, which makes it the version to reach for in wind or on approaches that need to sit down and stay put. Players who putt with a Chief often carry this one as the bad weather twin: same grip, same release, sturdier finish when the conditions turn ugly.
