The Sockibomb Slammer is the approach disc Ricky Wysocki made famous, a deep overstable putter reworked into a forehand scalpel. It flies with almost no glide, ignores wind, and finishes with an emphatic left hook for a right hand backhand, which is exactly what you want from a disc whose whole job is to stop near the basket. Thrown forehand or backhand it delivers the same stubborn, repeatable flight. For controlled upshots inside driver range it has become a modern standard.
