The Guard is a floaty, neutral putter with more glide than most discs in its class. That extra carry makes long putts feel effortless and gives soft approaches a gentle, straight ride to the basket with barely any fade at the end. It excels for players who like to lob putts on a rainbow line or who want a putter that stretches upshot range without extra effort. In gusty wind that float becomes a liability, which is really its only weakness.
