The XL was one of the beloved control drivers of the late nineties, a Discraft staple back when fairway speed was the top of the range. It flies smooth and accurate with a gentle rightward lean and only a whisper of fade, the kind of flight that rewards touch rather than muscle. Older players remember it fondly and plenty still bag one for straight wooded lines. Broken in copies get delightfully flippy and make easy turnover discs.
