Stratus

The Stratus has been easing new players into disc golf since the late nineties, most famously as a fixture of Discraft starter sets. It is light in the hand, very willing to turn, and forgiving of slow arm speed, which is exactly what a beginner needs to see a full flight. Experienced players keep one around for rollers and big anhyzer shots. Throw it hard and flat and it will turn over, that is the disc working as designed.
