Drone

The Drone is one of disc golf's classic overstable midranges, a flat topped brick that forehand players in particular treat as a security blanket. It goes exactly as far as you throw it, refuses to turn no matter how hard it is hit, and finishes with an emphatic hook and skip. Headwind approaches, spike hyzers, and hard doglegs are its natural habitat. Nobody throws it for distance, everybody throws it for certainty.
