The DD dates back to Discmania's early lineup, a glide heavy distance driver on the understable side. At moderate power it flips gently and rides its float a long way. At higher power it turns hard enough for big anhyzers and reliable rollers. That flexibility made it a favorite second driver: the disc for tailwinds, turnovers, and squeezing distance out of smooth form rather than muscle. It is not built for headwinds, and it does not apologize for that.
