The Epic was Aerobie's swing at a distance driver, and like everything the company made it refused to look like anyone else's disc. Its unconventional rim was an airfoil experiment meant to squeeze out extra lift, and with the right release it really would sail. The catch was control: the Epic could be wild, and it never earned a place in serious bags. Today it is a conversation piece, a genuinely interesting design from a brand that thought differently about flight.
